How do I work my Solana Gear Heated Vest?

Charge your power bank or battery fully.

Place it in the inner zip pocket and connect the vest’s USB plug. Use a 5V/2A output port. Make sure the plug is inserted firmly – apply a bit of pressure to ensure a secure connection.

If your power bank has a power button, turn it on.

Press and hold the vest’s chest power button for 3 seconds. The button will cycle colors, then show a slow flashing red – this is the preheat phase (up to 5 minutes).

After preheating, the vest switches to Medium automatically and the button glows solid white.

Tap the button to change heat level:

Solid Red = High

Solid White = Medium

Solid Blue = Low
-

To power off, press and hold the chest button for 3 seconds.
Troubleshooting
Vest power button flashing red quickly after plugging in and no heat

Use a compatible power source (5V/2A minimum). Ports rated at 1A or lower will not work.

Check the USB connection inside the pocket. Unplug and re-plug firmly.

Make sure the plug is inserted securely – apply a bit of pressure to ensure a tight connection.

Try a different port if available.
No light on the vest button

The power bank may be off or empty. Charge it fully and try again.

If your power bank has a power button, make sure it is switched on.

Check the USB connection inside the pocket. Unplug and re-plug firmly to ensure a secure connection.
Care Instructions

Remove the power bank before washing.

Use a neutral detergent (mild, non-bleach).

Insert the USB connector into the inner pocket and zip it closed to protect it.

Hand wash is preferred. If using a machine, select the delicate cycle.

Use a laundry bag if machine washing.

Hang dry only. Do not tumble dry.

Preheating may be slower in very cold environments. Keep the vest zipped and close to your body.

You can skip preheat and manually select your preferred setting. While in preheat mode (slow flashing red), tap the button to choose High, Medium, or Low. The vest will then heat to that level after preheat completes.

Does the Solana Gear Heated Vest come with a battery?
No. The power bank is not included. You can use any 5V/2A compatible power bank. Standard phone banks typically do not provide enough power. For convenience, we offer a 10,000mAh 5V/2A lithium-ion power bank, available here.
Can I wear my Solana Gear Heated Vest on an airplane?
Yes. The vest itself is TSA-friendly and can be packed in carry-on or checked luggage. If traveling with a power bank, follow airline guidelines (usually carry-on only).
How long does the battery last?
Up to 8 hours of heating per full charge, depending on the heat setting.
Is the vest good for extended outdoor activities?
Definitely. It’s designed for long-lasting warmth and is ideal for hiking, camping, and other cold-weather activities.
